OTOMOTIF 1 - Missing text from a Word document and not listed in Previous Versions

I've been working on a novel for the past few months and have run into a problem. The last time I worked on it was Thursdays at 12am and that was also the last time I closed the document (12:05). The next morning I opened the Word document because I initially planned on continuing but I ended up doing other things. Then today, Friday, I opened the document once again but quickly realized, that my most recent text went missing.

The last time I worked on it I was offline, but I always have auto-save on and it must have synched with OneDrive first thing in the morning when I opened it again, and the text was still there. So I'm really confused what caused it to appear to be deleted or unsaved the next day, I literally have done nothing to the document the previous day, just let it on open.

A few things to say before anyone is kind enough to reach out and help, my files are always on auto-save and synched with OneDrive, I checked the "Recover previous versions" and it just shows me nothing, same for recover unsaved Documents, I viewed the Previous Versions history but it shows me the wrong last saves, my actual last save (at 00:05) is missing! The most recent save that it shows me is the time I checked on it during my discovery of the missing data and the other last previous save (at 9:55) and it just opened up that version instead. I also checked Previous Versions in OneDrive, it shows me the exact same list, though when I opened OneDrive and looked in Recent Documents, it showed me in its "last changed on.." tab the actual time I last changed it (Thursday, 00:05) so I thought when I'll open it, I'd solve my problem, yet it showed me the other previous save (21:55).

I also made a better backup now, to prevent future troubles.

I'd really appreciate your help, I know I'm just gonna have to rewrite what I lost since I looked everywhere on the internet for solutions, even downloaded a third-party app, but maybe there is a little spark of hope somewhere yet to be unveiled.
